Can anybody who lives in Rowville tell me how long it takes to drive to Huntingdale Station During Peak Time?
Q. My wife and I are considering buying a house in Rowville. I work in the city and am worried about commuting time to/from work. I am planning to drive to Huntingdale Train Station and catch a train to the city. If anyone who lives/ has lived in Rowville and works in the city can tell me how they get to/from work in the city and how long it takes, I appreciate it very much. Thanks.

A. Not more than an hour and a half. If a major accident occurs then depends on how long it takes to clean things up.

How has Judaism affected the lives of its followers?
Q. I need to know how people who practice Judaism believe their religion has impacted their lives. Can anyone tell me any positive responses to the question?

A. Why yes I can, I am Jewish and for that I treat animals better than most (for example a Jew ALAWAYS has to feed his/her animals before themselves. I am a vegetarian because I am Jewish (see Genesis 1:29).Also would be kind to animals category. I don't steal, or cheat, ever. I live my live as good as I can by our Tanakh. I could probably think of a ton more stuff that being a Jew and hence living as a Jew mainly has affected my life for the good, but alas, I am really tired. Oh, I only eat Kosher food if that counts. I pray to and Love HaShem with all my heart, all my soul and all my might!!!

Why do often find ourselves during the dark night of our lives?
Q. Why do often find ourselves during the dark night of our lives? This has happened to me, I went through a dark and dangerous time and now I know more about myself than I did before. Although the journey to knowing oneself is never complete, my experience and that of others I have talked to seem to show that we often 'find' ourselves during the darkest times of our lives. Why is this the case, is there something about the sunny happier times of our lives that masks our true selves or is it just that we don't have to look during these times so we don't. Thanks.

A. Those are the testing times. Forcing us to tap all our inner resources, bring them to fore, to deal with the situation. We are many a times surprised by the strength , tenacity, grit, call-it-what-you-may, that had been hidden in us all the time. Only we were unaware of it simply because the smooth ride doesn't require much efforts & kinda dull our senses... Hope that helped...

How do you stop sim families lives while playing another family?
Q. When I play a family on the sims 3 the other families in the neighborhood continue to live their lives. They even have babies and get married when I don't want them too. How do I stop that from happening? Its really annoying, I don't care if the procreated sim families do that but not for the families that I create.

A. To play more than one family in the same neighbourhood you have to use the Edit Town button, not the ones on the Options Main Menu. You can switch between families but the ones you're not playing will lose their current little wishes and will carry on their lives while you're not playing them.

How can I find out who lives at an address?
Q. I want to find out who lives in my Great Grandma's old house, and for how long. I want to find out possibly how much they purchased the house for, how much the property is worth, and if possible if there is a way I could find out if the house ever goes up for sale. I want to try and buy the house back someday. And im not going to go knocking on their door and ask them! So is there a site I can use? When can I go to find this out?
Asked by mynames.secret - Tue Apr 22 21:55:04 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Your country auditor may well be online and you could see all or most of that information. Also, if your purpose is to buy the property in the future, just write a letter to "current owner" at that address saying if they ever want to sell they should contact you first.

Which individual in human history has saved the most lives?
Q. Maybe it was a world leader who avoided or ended early a catastrophic war. Maybe it was an inventor of a safety device. Maybe it was the discoverer of a vaccine for a deadly illness. Maybe it was the inventor of a method of agriculture that brought millions out of a starvation death. It could be anything. So, what is it? Who is the ultimate life-saver in raw numbers of lives saved? So far we have TWO answers for Edward Jenner and his smallpox vaccine, and TWO answers for Norman Borlaug and his hybrid wheat. Then we have one answer for Stalin, which is fascinating in itself. This is really interesting!
Asked by K. - Thu Jan 14 03:32:38 2010 - - 9 Answers - 2 Comments
A. Norman Borlaug. From his obit: "Norman Borlaug rose from his childhood on an Iowa farm to develop a type of wheat that helped feed the world, fostering a movement that is credited with saving up to 1 billion people from starvation." " 'Norman E. Borlaug saved more lives than any man in human history,' said Josette Sheeran, executive director of the U.N. World Food Program." Jenner, Lister, Flemming, and Pasteur, amongst others, changed health and hygiene, but aside from air and water, food is the most crucial need. And 1,000,000,000 is a lot of people.

How do I prove where a child lives for child support purposes?
Q. My fiance has been paying child support to the county in New York for 18 years, due to his mother being on social services. Now his son no longer lives with his mother and my fiance wants to prove that so he no longer has to pay support , or can change the support to go directly to him. Any information would be helpful.

A. If the boy if over 18, than he can request the child support go directly to the boy, plus the boy can sue the mother for child support. I was written on just such a case this morning. Contact child support enforcement and request they provide legal representation as required by Federal Public Law 12, to initiate a motion to modify the child support order. Also, this may make it possible for him to get the deduction. The mother cannot take it as the child no longer lives there. To learn his rights, join Dads House in Yahoo Groups \\\

Why does god allow some people better lives than others?
Q. If life is fair, then why do some people have good situations that set their lives up for success, while others experience tragedies, setbacks or hardships that may destroy their lives. For example, my past had been so negative that I have now been rendered useless. I believe at my age and in my situation there is no hope for a salvageable life. Why does god allow some to flourish, but not others?

A. There is no god. It is an astronomical impossibility. A perfect being wouldn't feel the need to make people let alone make them suffer because a perfect being needs absolutely nothing. Stop blaming god and just accept that only you can change your life. Do the best you can and just try to be happy.

If they were all banned as the total farces that they are then the human race might start actually advancing at the rate it should do.

A. From my reading there does seem to be some cultural issues. It is difficult to place these in proper perspective. For instance people in western cultures (US & Europe) don't accept this phenomena so it is often discouraged in children and rarely reported to researchers. On the other hand in India it is readily believed and parents go to some length to see if they can confirm their childrens reports. The best work to date on this subject was done by Ian Stevenson, M.D. (deceased) and his work continues at the University of Virginia (link below). Psi

Q. When children reportedly remember past lives, how much of that do you think is due to cultural learning? Are there cases of remembered past lives in different countries, or even (if life on other planets exists) elsewhere?

How can having power affect your life, and the lives of others?
Q. Do you think this statement rings true? Why or why not? "People can use their power to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others."

A. Absolutely. Does it happen? No. Power brings greed, and the hunger for more power.

What is something fabulous me and hubby can do with our lives instead of having children?
Q. We get a lot of pressure from our friends and family (his mostly) who constantly drop hints that are lives are basically meaningless unless we have children (because they do). What fabulous things can we do with our lives to prove them wrong? LOL.

A. Everything else. People with kids can be so idiotic about this issue. I guess that they have to convince themselves they didn't REALLY flush their lives down the toilet. I have kids, but we made so many sacrifices to do it. Things are so much better now that they're grown. Watch the thumbs down...
